The court says Anders met the initial threshold to qualify for anti-SLAPP protection. The appellate court reversed, saying “Ocean’s Eleven’s complaint is a classic SLAPP suit, filed by an entity to suppress public debate.” Anders responded with an anti-SLAPP motion, which the trial court denied.
